This post is just to let whomever cares that I am not dead. I've separated myself from anyone and everyone because that's what I need to do to get myself back on track. I did not do this because of some evil plot concocted by my mother, nor did I do this because of a friend allegedly stealing my mother's credit card (though it was a catalyst). Please understand that I am doing well, I have a job, and I've been clean for nearly two months as of this posting. I make this posting purely because I would like to think that there are some people that would care to know I am doing well. I make no promises of getting back into contact with anyone nor will I reply to any posts on this. Also, to those of you I have wronged, I apologize and beg forgiveness as I forgive those of you who have wronged me.

So I've been working for almost a week now and I'm starting to get the hang of things, well, the register anyways... When I was hired, I was told I would be working in the Home department, but so far I've been doing nothing but working the registers. I don't mind really; its pretty easy except for the occasional bitchy customer. By the way, the customer is NOT always right. I'm starting to bond with the other employees, a little bit anyway. Most of the time its too busy to chit-chat and I'm always a little reserved when I'm in a new environment. However, I've been invited to go play laser-tag with some of the other cashiers next Sunday. I still haven't learned everybody's name, but slowly I'm getting to know a couple of them, mainly the other cashiers.

Anyway, I'm kinda tired because I only got four hours of sleep last night. I couldn't sleep for some reason so after laying in bed for about an hour and a half I decided to go online and talk to Lauren online until 4AM. Then I had to wake up at 8AM to get to work on time... I barely made it, but once I was there I was busy enough that I didn't really feel tired until I got to my dad's house for dinner.

All I seem to do is work, eat, and sleep these days, but I guess that's the way it goes until you get the hang of it. Hopefully the day where I can go out and do shit at night and still get up in the morning isn't too far off.

Yeah so this is the first blog I've created... I don't really know what it is yet but it appears to be a lot like LiveJournal. Anyway the title of this blog is: "Trying To Be More Active On MySpace/LiveJournal" which is pretty self-explanatory... To accomplish this small goal (on the MySpace end of things anyway), I'm trying out the features of myspace that I haven't had much exposure to. Anyways, I guess I'll tell you whats been going on recently...

For those of you who don't know, I've gotten myself in some trouble (I'm not going to go into details) and now I owe my mom a lot of money, so I've been job hunting... sorta. I've been really lazy about it thought because... well, I'm lazy. Anyway the fruits of my effort have finally (after one week) begun to ripen. The manager from Steinmart (like a wannabe Walmart) called me back today and offered me a position. It doesn't pay much, but its obviously better than nothing. Plus, because its only about 30 hours a week I can get another job on the side if I need to once I get acquainted to the schedule. On top of that I've gotten involved with another money-making opportunity that should start to bring in some extra cash on the side... We'll see.

My apartment is a total f**king pigsty and its really starting to bother me... I really should clean it but at this point I look at it and I get overwhelmed just trying to figure out where to start. Besides, so long as my internet is up I know I'm not actually going to get a real work done...

Well... that's it for now. I'm going to post this on MySpace(www.myspace.com/dertyrat) as well and see which site gets more responses... Now how to figure out how to spell-check on this thing...
